We, Kyowa Hakko Europe GmbH (hereinafter referred as to KHE) are pleased to announce that as of April 1st, 2009 Daiichi Fine Chemical Europe GmbH (hereinafter referred as to DFE) will be merged into KHE, and KHE will become the successor to all of DFE's business. At the same time the Sales and Marketing unit of DFE will become an integral Division of KHE.

Taking this opportunity, KHE has revised the General Terms and Conditions which will be applied from April 1st, 2009 to all customers of both parties. We, KHE, believe that the merger of DFE into KHE is the achievement of further expansion and a sustainable growth in Europe.
